Eden is a world that was in ruins, and was put back together by greed. Mega-corporations now fight over territory and host their own little utopias. A cyberpunk paradigm with no end in sight. This is the world that our future selves are supposedly a part of. It's only been entered once through means of a time shift differential when trying to return to Ruin. Essentially, it is Ruin in the future.
